Canon U.S.A. Expands Sales and Service Support for Edale Solutions in North America

Melville, NY, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced an expanded sales and service arrangement with Edale, a Canon company, in the United States and Canada beginning in January 2027 and in Mexico effective immediately, further aligning the companies’ complementary strengths to better serve the evolving needs of the label and packaging industries. The collaboration brings Edale’s 75 years of expertise in flexographic printing, converting, hybrid printing, automation, and finishing together with Canon’s digital production technologies, market presence in the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico, and customer support capabilities.

The relationship expands Canon’s ability to support label and packaging customers across a broader range of production requirements, complementing its digital printing portfolio with established flexographic and converting capabilities. As the principal sales and service channel for Edale products across the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico, Canon will provide customers with local sales support, service, parts distribution and financing for Edale products. This combines Edale technology with Canon’s established customer support network across the region. For customers, it means combining Edale’s proven technology with the local support and resources of Canon.

“Edale brings decades of specialized engineering expertise and a deep understanding of the needs of label and packaging converters,” said Kiyoshi Oka, executive vice president and general manager, Marketing Strategy Unit, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “By combining those strengths with Canon’s digital production expertise and presence in the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico, we can deliver greater value to customers while creating new opportunities for both businesses. This is a natural next step in our relationship and reflects our commitment to providing more comprehensive solutions for the label and packaging market.”

“Expanding our presence with Canon in the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico gives Edale the opportunity to build on our engineering heritage while reaching a broader market,” said Rob Brown, Sales and Marketing Director, Edale. “These regions are a key growth market for us, and working more closely with Canon allows us to bring our flexographic and converting expertise to more customers while benefiting from Canon’s scale and resources. Together, we can offer converters great choice and flexibility as their production needs continue to evolve.”

A key milestone in the expanded relationship will take place at LOUPE Americas 2026, September 15-17 in Chicago, where Canon will feature Edale as part of its label and packaging portfolio at Booth 6000 in Hall F. Attendees will be able to explore the Edale LabelLine Series and learn how Canon and Edale technologies can work together across digital printing, flexographic printing, converting, embellishment, and finishing applications.

Converters, customers, and industry members who are attending the show can visit Canon and Edale at LOUPE Americas 2026 to discover how their complementary solution capabilities can be used to help businesses increase flexibility, improve productivity, and pursue new opportunities in label and packaging production.
